Stopping or Pausing Your Program

Your program is carefully designed and personalized by your therapist over a 30 day period to support you in your cognitive goals. We recommend that you complete the full course of the program in order to achieve maximum benefit. However, we realize that life happens and unexpected events may occur that may require you to pause or stop your program during the 30 day period. Just let your therapist or our Care Team know as soon as possible so that we can conform with all relevant insurance requirements, and to adjust your program to restart after a certain day if you need to pause the program. If your therapist determines that you are no longer suitable or eligible for the program, the therapist may end your program. This may happen during the assessment or at any point during the program based on a clinical assessment of therapeutic appropriateness. In this situation, you will be notified directly by your therapist by phone or email and you will not be charged for any subsequent sessions, nor will your insurance.

Refunds for Private Pay Services

Services paid privately will pay in two instalments in line with current Medicare rates.

  1. The evaluation and initial treatment fee ($301.79) for the evaluation / brain health assessment session at the start of the program must be paid ahead of the session to secure your scheduled time. This fee is not refundable after the session has started. Please also review our Appointment Cancellation and No Show Policy.
  2. The remaining treatment fee ($303.84) covers all remaining therapy sessions (4 live sessions with a therapist and unlimited digital sessions through Moneta’s telephone system) and must be paid after your evaluation session and before the full phone-based treatment program begins. If you decide to pause your program, this fee will not be refunded. If you decide to stop your program, your full treatment fee may be refunded upon evaluation by Moneta on a case-by-base basis, upon request.
